The theme of this year's EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) is 'lead the clean energy transition'. In Brussels the event will be marked by a Policy Conference, on 5-7 June including the ceremony of the annual EU Sustainable Energy Awards, and a chance to share ideas and good practice in the Networking Village on 6-7 June.
Ms Annamária Nádor, project manager of DARLINGe was invited to present at the session called 'DECARBONIZATION OF THE HEATING AND COOLING SECTOR: COUPLING EFFICIENCY AND RENEWABLES WITH SECURITY OF HEAT SUPPLY'.
In addition to addressing the role of biomass and waste-heat, the main focus of the session will be on geothermal energy and its role in the decarbonisation of the heating sector.
